One thing that grinds my gears is the fact that they do not allow us to use our iPods during class/school hours. They say it is a distraction, but for me it isn’t, it actually helps me concentrate better because music relaxes me. When we do our work we should be able to listen to music, but when the teacher is talking you should just take it off and once he/she is done you can use it again.  There is nothing wrong with listening to your iPod when everybody is quite and doing their work. Everybody has many different opinions about the use of iPods in school, but at the end, who would not want to listen to their music while they are doing their work. Listening to music makes time fly by even faster and that is good because being in a class for too long might get you bored. Teachers might think that because a student is listening to their iPod that they are not paying attention but in reality the student is paying attention and doing his work too. All I am saying is that if you do your work and everything than why not have the privilege of listening to your music, either way you are getting your work done, and that is all that matters. As for me I would love to be able to listen to my iPod when I am doing my work because it helps me concentrate more, it relaxes me, and it helps me get my work done faster. No matter what the work is I can be able to listen to music and do my work too. As long as you use your iPod when you are able to then everything will work out okay in the classroom. They should just let us listen to our iPods when in class/school hours. It is not doing any harm to anyone.
